• Theology is your interpretation of truth — your doctrine, beliefs, and convictions.
• Ministry is how you apply that truth — how you lead, structure, and serve people so they grow in it.

Theology says: “Jesus called us to make disciples.”
Ministry says: “Here’s how we do that — this week, with our people, in our context.”

Theology is your target.

Ministry is how you help people aim — and move toward it.

You can’t separate them. But you definitely can’t confuse them.

The Real Reason Your Church Feels Stuck

I work with a lot of theologically solid pastors — truly rock solid.

But they’re frustrated to some level (hence they reached out to me).

They’re working hard and preaching truth, but still seeing:

• Align
• Move people forward
• Build culture
• And ultimately… make disciples, not just declarations

The real issue isn’t that your church is structured. It’s whether your structure supports your mission.

Spirit-Led Doesn’t Mean Strategy-Free

This isn’t about choosing between Spirit and structure.

Jesus didn’t wing it. Paul didn’t just preach. He:

• Planted churches
• Appointed leaders
• Wrote letters
• Created systems for growth and accountability

They didn’t just believe in the truth. They built something to help people live it.
